I love these but have to admit i don't know where most of them have come from. Number 2 is sarah hermans. Number 5 is Ana Cuba.

I find it so strange. Inside my head it's summer. But outside it's winter.

I was so frustrated today when i found a big dent in the paper of the drawing i'm working on. I'll have to start again.

wilderness in bombay

There'as a place in bombay that is a wilderness in the city. A patch of jungle on a hill, where tigers roam and vultures circle overhead - a secret place, a forbidden garden, a burial ground, with a huge unclimbable wall all around. the people leave dead bodies at the gate, and priests creep out at night to take them in and lay them out on stone slabs under the sky for the vultures to strip to the bone.

I'm back from the jungle. It took a long time. One of my flights was cancelled so i had to get a coach all the way up snowy snowy UK. I was travelling for 45 hours in all. A long time. It felt very weird to be dropped into weather so different from where I'd been. And I've been missing the summer a lot. But today the sun came and i felt so much better. There are good things about winter. Drinking tea and warm jumpers. And some other things.

Tomorrow i go back to school for my last semester. I'm nervous but quite excited as well.
