These are some things we collected on the walk on Christmas Day. We went to a really nice place called La Roche Jagu.
Butchers broom, holly and some nice Hydrangeas that were still flowering. We also got some pretty pieces of wood which have all now gone on the fire. Pretty wood makes a pretty fire. The other day it turned bluey green, though i think that means it has copper in it. I think a bit of lichen probably doesn't make too much of a difference. Happy Christmas.

I went to Balgay Park to photograph a project i did in the summer. The light there was really nice.
It is about lazyness.
I'm going to take the train to Oxford tomorrow to see my brother. Then on to France.

Kill Your Timid Notion
I just found this picture of me watching a performance by Seth Cluett at Kill Your Timid Notion earlier this year at Dundee Contemporary Arts. It was brilliant. It was a really great experience seeing and hearing so many lovely things.
The one i loved most was the exhibition by Felix Hess.
These little flags moved with the smallest fluctuations in the air. They looked like fish or little birds all moving together and reacted to the smallest things like walking past, coughing or even to just the place you were standing in the room. There is something i really love about art that you can interact with.
Kill Your Timid Notion is on tour. It will be on this weekend in London at the BFI and if you are near London i think you should go.

Little Red Riding Hood
These are some pictures i made last year. I am sitting in Rae's room. It is cold and we are sharing warmth. It was snowing earlier and today has been nice. I went to an exhibition in college that my freind Bill is involved in called There is no I. It's about collaboration. They had a loop machine and we sang and made noises into it. It was quite spooky sounding I thought.
I don't really have anything new to post. Just wanted to write about the snow.

Jean Luc Godard
Me and Kathryn have started a film and drawing night every Monday. So far we have had two nights the last of which was last night.
The first week we watched Je T'Aime John Wayne (you can watch the whole thing on youtube. At the moment anyway. (En ce moment je pense.)) and Bande A Part by Jean Luc Godard.
Yesterday we watched La Chinoise.
I really like Jean Luc Godard and his primary colours and the nice funny bits in his films.

Highland Cows
I like to visit the highland cows that live just beyond the airport. It can't be very nice living somewhere so loud. I went on my bicycle the other weekend when it was sunny and took some pictures.
I love mushrooms. I get them growing in my garden but my landlord mowes them away.
This one was curious and came to see me. He had a smell of my hand (and nearly impaled me on his horns) then went back to his patch.
I am going to now post links to some places because somebody told me it will make my blog come up on google. Hedgehog in the Fog. Dundee Contemporary Arts. Duncan of Jordanstone Wiki. D'Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum. The Cherry Blossom Girl. Variant. Map Magazine.

Screen Print
Here is a screen print from a few weeks ago. The blue bits are made using photographs of close-ups of the Fourth Rail Bridge as a stencil.

Autumn Autumn
I think halloween means that Autumn has finished now.
I like this tree outside my house.
This is the view from my studio.
And here are some lions (lines) I am working on.

Hello. This is a new blog. Because i somehow broke the last one. The old one was http://www.quitebedraggled.blogspot.com
It probably won't work soon as I'm going to try and delete it though I'm not sure i can even do that. Oh well.
I'm studying illustration at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee. I'll use this blog to post stuff that interests me and things I have done.
