Some recent photos. Samosa. Squirrel climbing around my boxes. Hannah's many keys. Flowers turning pink in the Griffin. Wrapped cables. Scratching paint off pretty fireplace tiles. A good collection of plants.

Life in the islands is better.

Listening to Dog Is Dead and London Grammar today. In Glasgow it's pretty wet outside. People wearing wellies and inside out umbrellas and what-not. I got my yellow raincoat out and found a card in there from four years ago.

Two days ago I saw a man rescue a balloon from the air in the middle of the road and give it back to it's owner. Her parents then instructed her to say thank you to the man. "Thank you man."

Funny warm up drawing. Warming up for me is less for the action of drawing and more about having a play before you get to work.

I have a new desk space set up. It feels so fresh and full of potential. So far it has mostly been used to watch Orange is the New Black with chinese food. And to look at pictures of David Gilmour of Pink Floyd for research purposes.

I love when people stick up the end of their foot in a weird direction when they are concentrating.

The second photo is me helping out at an Open Jar Collective event at the Glad Cafe. Applying my plate carrying skills to the arts.

.

Found on this walk near Salisbury: Three beautiful pheasant tail feathers, an elderflower (but apparently I needed 29 more to make elderflower cordial) and something that might be canola. Oh and those poppies at the bottom might be opium poppies. And I went to see Stonehenge. There are a lot of Starlings there.

I've got some drawings in an exhibition at A.gallery (87 Saltmarket Street, Glasgow.) It opens on the 13th July and is on till the beginning of september.

Going to the GSA Masters interim show tonight. Trying to write one short story per week. They are only 800 words or so but it's nice to resolve things quickly like that. You make a list of ten things you love and ten things you hate. You write short storys about each of the things you love. And then some stories where you kill the things you hate.
