Brisbane

I stayed for three weeks in a nice old Queenslander with some new friends. It was just cold enough that you had to sit in the sun to be warm. I wish I had taken more photos of the nice cafes I went to. Do you like this bridge? It's called the story bridge.

On the Sunlander.
The Sunlander goes along the coast between Brisbane and Cairns. It takes about a day and a half.

I met some strange people.

A man who had travelled all the way up to innisfail to meet a girl who didn't turn up, so hopped straight onto the train going back down.

A guy playing the guitar who told a different set of countries to everyone who asked or didn't ask where he was from. (I think he was clearly aboriginal. Why be ashamed??) He played and sang to the whole dining car between Marybourough and Cooroy.

This girl who I shared my cabin with wasn't strange but very very impatient and reluctant to borrow my bright orange cardigan to go outside though she was freezing.

Entry for AGDA annual. I was sponsored by Artisan. I met some nice people and hopefully learnt some good things.

It felt nice carrying this round Brisbane wrapped in brown paper. That is untill I lost it and had to redraw the whole thing! It was strange how many people I noticed after, carrying rolled up bits of paper. I was suspicious of them.

Sorry for badly cropped photos. I was too impatient waiting to make another post.

Philippe is always looking through a camera because he doesn't like to be photographed and this is the best time to do it when he's not looking.
