Lost in a jungle

These are some of the pages from my book Lost in a Jungle.

The other day i had to explain what freckles were. I said they are little dots that some people get where the sun hits instead of a tan. And that the people with freckles always hate them while the people who don't get them, like me, are always jealous.

Everything has been handed in. Apart from one lost sketchbook.

Today i got caught in the rain in sandals and a summer dress. I got home quick on the bike but my seat was wet and my hood wouldn't stay. I was a drowned rat. But i kind of liked it.

recently

I've got a few stacks of books that I've made sitting about the place. It's satisfying. Things are getting so busy. We have to have all finished by the 10th of May at the latest.
But we try to be happy whenever we can. Yesterday Kirsty drove us to Broughty Ferry and we sat in the car with fish and chips next to the sea watching the swans by the castle in the rain.

I'm jealous. It is so cold here.

I don't think I showed you these photos i took. You might recognise some little people in them.

Today was sunny. I ate a pasty on my way into school. But no drawing. Just writing and planning. Figuring things out.

My plant in the kitchen that only grows up once a year has started pointing out with green tips. And so have some spring bulbs. I have some mulled wine that never got drunk and i think we'll have a party to say goodbye to the winter.

a tiger and a human

I had a good halloween collecting twigs to tie to my broom.

Oh yeah. Because you see, i flew to Glasgow for the day. And it was so annoying. So many people dressed as zombies everywhere that i got distracted. And i crashed into a car and my broom fell apart. The rope holding it together snapped. So i had to get the train home. It was so annoying.

Anyway. I suppose all the tying twigs led me to create these little people for my little jungle. I'll show you soon.
